An Introduction To Bjj Kimono

After playing the sport for a long time and determining your passion for the sport, you can then go on to the sturdy, double weave fabric that is heavier in weight.

If you are going in for the gold weave fabric Bjj gi, it means you are very seriously into the game and highly committed to regular practice. Gold weave fabric uses cotton fibers that are long stapled. If you want a light weight jiu jitsu kimono, then you must choose the platinum weave. This fabric comes with luster and offers enhanced comfort due to the high quality cotton used for its construction. It is also highly durable, as durable as the double weave. Brazilian jiujitsu gi made of platinum weave fabric is predominantly used by competitors and instructors.

Bjj kimonos come in different colors. Competitions however allow for white, black and blue. The uniform must be accessorized with the right color Bjj belts depending on the martial artist's ranking.
