Tired Of Your Limp Biscuit Apartment? Liven It Up On A Shoestring Budget

Your apartment’s saying all the wrong things about you, and you want to do something about it, but you don’t have much. What can you do? First, let’s take a look of the situation. Let's see what you already have to start with. First, you have a wooden floor. Let’s say you also have an antique, carved, wooden couch from Bali. For your dining room you have an upholstered Victorian dining set. You also have a small table and two chairs, all painted white and distressed. In one corner lies a stainless steel shelf. Finally, you have two fantastic metal wall decor pieces: a metal wall sculpture of a lovely pair of lovey-dovey white herons, and a rectangle wall mirror. Let’s say further that you favor a minimalist look. Okay, now we’re ready to consider the possibilities.

Tip #1 Decorate different rooms differently.
