Important Reasons to Drink Only Distilled Water

Distilled water helps me to get down many pills every day

There is no shortage of types of water, however which water is best for my needs? Over time, I have chosen to drink only distilled water. Why you ask?

I take a lot pills each day. Many means almost 50 pills daily. Obviously, that is a large number. I do not have much choice, but to get down all of these pills without getting to sick to take them.

I have gotten osteoporosis and have had to take natural calcium supplements daily

Due to the drugs I have been required to use, side-effects have occurred. I have to get down more pills that treat these side-effects. One situation is that I have osteoporosis and have had to get down natural calcium pills daily. This is because of the very high doses of Prednisone, because of my Crohn’s disease. Now, I must get down several calcium osteoporosis supplement pills to reverse my calcium bone loss. That is the reason why I have to take so many pills each day. As I swallow these pills, I am often distracted by the chemical smell of the water that flows out of our pipes.

I’m not sure why, but my county seems to have water with lots of chlorine. The odor is very distinct to me. Quality reports come with the water bill that say the district's water has a lot of chemical additives. I am often very concerned.

I mean, naturally, some chemicals would be there, because the water flows out of nature. However, some of the other stuff is shocking. The water district serves so many people, and they have to make sure that the local water supply is potable. Check out the information that get delivered in the water bill envelope, since they can be very informative. While ignorance might seem to be bliss, I’m actually glad I read them.

With water that has been distilled, I can get down all my drugs and vitamins

A while back my uncle stopped by to see me and we talked about water purity. Since he travels a lot, and he commented that he always carries purified, distilled water. Why, I asked? He said that it is the water he can be sure of. Besides, he can buy it in any food store.

I thought that was interesting. In the past, I had just used distilled water for baby wipes that had dried out. After this conversation, I’ve had even more intestinal problems. Due to my health, I now have to get down quite a few more pills. To deal with the nutritional side effects of Crohn's Disease, I also must swallow supplements, including multivitamins and some extra vitamins along with a calcium pyruvate supplement that are medically prescribed.

Due to my Crohn’s, I am very sensitive to smells that cause me to get sick. So, things work better to use only distilled water, because I must always swallow all my drugs and supplements every day.
